The experience was challenging as we are not regular hikers but we were lucky to have Jesús as guide, who helped us to find motivation and arrive to the end, also taking beautiful pictures of us being a professional photographer. Jesús is also a passionate story teller whom made our visit to Machu Picchu unforgettable by explaining us all the history of Machu Picchu.

A nuestro arribo, recojo en el aeropuerto y traslado a su hotel en Cusco.
Por la tarde iniciamos nuestro recorrido peatonal por la ciudad imperial del Cusco visitando el mercado de alimentos de “San Pedro”, único en su género. Este es el mercado donde compran los lugareños todo tipo de productos para la preparación de su dieta diaria. Aquí apreciaremos insumos de primera necesidad como: verduras, patatas, frutas, carnes, especias, cereales, panes, etc., una infinidad de colores y sabores; asi mismo, se puede ver la venta de gastronomía típica local y conocer un poco más de la cultura de la región. Luego de esta enriquecedora visita, vamos al templo del Sol “Qoricancha”, aquí se conoceremos la arquitectura en piedra tallada intacta del templo; asi mismo, en su interior se podrá visitar templos dedicados a la luna, arco iris, estrellas, rayos, truenos, entre otras deidades Inca. Posteriormente, caminaremos por las calles tradicionales de la ciudad, donde, cada una de sus calles siempre tiene algo que contar (mitos, leyendas, cuentos), hasta llegar a una estrecha calle donde se encuentra la piedra de los 12 ángulos, actualmente es una calle museo, donde se puede ver el dominio de la piedra en la arquitectura de nuestros ancestros. Alojamiento en Cusco.
Machu Picchu, armonía entre el hombre y la tierra.
Desayuno en el hotel. Muy temprano en la mañana recojo desde su hotel y traslado a la estación para abordar el tren y luego de 3:30hrs. arribará al pueblo de Aguas Calientes (poblado ubicado a los pies de la montaña donde se encuentra Machu Picchu). Recepción por el guía local y caminata hacia la estación para abordar el bus que le trasladará a la ciudadela de Machu Picchu donde arribamos luego de 30 min., realizamos nuestra visita guiada alrededor de 2.30hrs., donde podremos conocer la zona agrícola, la plaza sagrada, el templo principal, el templo de las tres ventanas y toda la magnificencia de la enigmática ciudad. Bus de bajada a Aguas Calientes. Almuerzo en restaurante local. Al retornar presentarse en la estación de tren 30 minutos antes de la salida del tren. Retorno a Cusco. Arribo, recepción y traslado a su hotel. Hotel en Cusco.
En hora oportuna traslado al aeropuerto, vuelo a Lima y luego retorno a su país de origen.
