Depois de visitar as grandes realizações arquitetônicas incas, ficará claro para você que o Sol era a principal divindade adorada na cultura inca. No Inti Raymi de hoje, todos os rituais importantes do Festival do Sol são reencenados (não se preocupe, os sacrifícios de lhamas são simulados!). Esse dia especial também inclui a Celebração do Fogo Novo. Nenhum fogo era permitido na cidade nesse dia até que um espelho oco fosse usado para concentrar a luz do sol em peles de animais e gravetos. Só então todos os outros fogos eram iniciados a partir dessa fonte.
Você verá o Inca sendo carregado pelas ruas de Cusco em uma liteira e brindado com chicha (uma bebida de milho fermentado). A cerimônia termina com um discurso do Inca no idioma quíchua nativo.
A programação:
09:30 hrs. Qorikancha: início da encenação. Duração de 45 minutos.
11:00 hrs. Auqaypata (Plaza Mayor): O Inka e sua Corte Real, entram na rua Intikijllu. Duração de 1 hora.
13:00 h. Encenação do Lar Sagrado arqueológico de Saqsaywaman com duração de 90 minutos, que celebra os ritos do Fogo Novo, a Coca, as oferendas dos Quatro e a previsão dos tempos futuros, entre outros.
Após o café da manhã, traslado à estação de trem para embarcar no trem para Aguas Calientes. Na chegada, nossa equipe o ajudará a pegar o ônibus até a entrada da cidadela. “Machu Picchu é uma das mais altas expressões da arquitetura inca, Patrimônio Cultural e Natural da Humanidade. Construída no meio da floresta tropical das montanhas, a cidade parece ter sido esculpida nas escarpas rochosas. Além de oferecer um cenário espetacular, exibe uma importante diversidade biológica endêmica de flora e fauna. O complexo foi construído por volta do século XV pelo Inca Pachacutec, o fundador e primeiro imperador de Tahuantinsuyo.
