Rafting in Urubamba River – Sacred Valley Overview
The Sacred Valley of the Incas is located to the north of Cusco. This valley was of great importance to the Inca Empire and great fortresses and religious centers such as Pisaq and Ollantaytambo were built there. Nowadays it is a fertile valley with pleasant picturesque villages such as Urubamba, Calca, and Qoya, among others.

Rafting in Urubamba River – Sacred Valley Itinerary
Our excursion begins by collecting the passengers from their hotels at around 8.30 am then heading towards the Sacred Valley for approximately two hours until arriving at Pachar. Here you will be given all your equipment such as a neoprene wetsuit, jacket or windbreaker, life jacket, helmet, and oars. Once you’ve got changed you’ll receive a safety briefing and technical instruction.
After enjoying the rafting we’ll get changed and enjoy lunch in a local restaurant before heading back to Cusco at around 5 pm.

Luggage & Liabilities
We recommend that all of the guests arrive in Peru with their own travel insurance and that it covers lost luggage.
