Galápagos Islands, the archipelago is home to some of the most beautiful and rare animal species on the planet, such as sea iguanas, blue footed boobies, giant tortoises, hammerhead sharks, and many more.
Quito, the capital of the country, is the most visited Ecuadorian city. You can find there, the Middle of the World (The famous Equator line crosses the country, there is a resort on site, where you can stand with one foot in each hemisphere).
Cuenca, on the other hand, is arguably the country’s most beautiful city. Besides the Spanish architecture, colorful open-air markets, and four rushing white-water rivers, Cuenca offers you the chance to visit El Cajas National Park.
Baños, is the second most populated city in Tungurahua, and is an important tourist center in Ecuador. Baños is known as the “Gateway to the Amazon”. You can do adventure activities such as rafting, kayaking, etc.
The Amazon rainforest, whether you visit a city in the Amazon region or dare to go further into an indigenous community, the experience will be incredible. These forests are home to anacondas, jaguars, monkeys, alligators, tropical birds and millions of insects.
