The experience was challenging as we are not regular hikers but we were lucky to have Jesús as guide, who helped us to find motivation and arrive to the end, also taking beautiful pictures of us being a professional photographer. Jesús is also a passionate story teller whom made our visit to Machu Picchu unforgettable by explaining us all the history of Machu Picchu.

Arribo al aeropuerto de Jaén, recepción y traslado en transporte turístico a la ciudad de Chachapoyas.
Luego de 4 horas aproximadamente, arribo a Chachapoyas (2,334m.s.n.m.) ,traslado e instalación en hotel seleccionado y el resto del día libre para descanso y aclimatación.
Viaje a Kuelap Chachapoyas (3,000 msnm) en la ruta observamos el sitio arqueológico de Macro, arribo a Nuevo Tingo traslado en teleférico a Kuelap , visita guiada. Kuelap es el complejo arqueológico de mayor significación para los Chachapoyas, construida desde el siglo VI d.c. y descubierta en 1843, impresiona sus murallas de piedra de hasta 20 metros de altura, que protegen más de 500 casas circulares, muchas de ellas decoradas con frisos en forma de zigzag y romboidales, distribuidas en más de siete hectáreas de extensión.
Almuerzo y retorno a Chachapoyas, traslado a hotel, pernocte.
Salida al pueblo de Cocachimba (2,312 msnm), desde ahí caminata a la catarata de Gocta (1,800 msnm), distante a 2:30 horas de camino aproximadamente, en el trayecto observaremos flora y fauna diversa y si la suerte nos acompaña podremos observar al gallito de las rocas (ave nacional del Perú); al arribo a la catarata observamos y tendremos la posibilidad de tomar fotografías, retorno al pueblo de Cocachimba, almuerzo, traslado a Chachapoyas.
Arribo a Chachapoyas, traslado e instalación en hotel, pernocte.
Desayuno en hotel.
Traslado en transporte turístico al aeropuerto de Jaén.
