Early morning transfer by road to the Sanctuary of Copacabana to board the catamaran cruise boat that will take us to the Sun Island. Onboard we will enjoy a light snack. On this legendary island, we will visit the gardens, stairway, and spring of the Inca, then the itinerary includes a visit to the Inti Wata Cultural Centre, the main private tourist attraction in Bolivia. Here we see the subterranean museum of the Ekako, the traditional medicine centers and the construction of totora rafts, the Pachamama terraces of Inca agriculture, a handicrafts center, the Intica refuge, and a great variety of Andean camelids at the Manco Kapac mirador.
We board the catamaran again to go to Challapampa, a small village in the north of the Sun Island where we have the opportunity to enjoy half a day of experiential tourism. On the way, we will be served a buffet lunch.
At the end of the day, we will enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner onboard the catamaran, in cabins with an external view and private bathroom.
We will enjoy a buffet breakfast as we sail in the catamaran, enjoying the marvelous view of Copacabana. Visit the Cathedral of the Virgin of Copacabana. A couple of hours free to visit the Sanctuary, then lunch, and return to Puno or La Paz by bus.
