Your journey begins with a visit to the iconic Uyuni Clock, one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks. Continue to the historic Train Cemetery, home to antique locomotives and railway cars that played a key role in Bolivia’s railway history. Next, visit the community of Colchani to learn about the traditional salt extraction and processing techniques.
Then, venture into the majestic Salar de Uyuni, where you’ll discover salt mounds, natural saltwater springs, and the world’s first salt hotel, now transformed into a museum. Enjoy time to take unforgettable photographs, admire the spectacular scenery, and savor a picnic lunch in the heart of the salt flats.
In the afternoon, explore Incahuasi Island, renowned for its giant cacti and volcanic origin. Before returning to Uyuni, witness a breathtaking sunset over the salt flats while enjoying a traditional Andean toast.
Finally, transfer to the airport or bus station.
