This itinerary is the perfect gateway to the Peruvian Amazon.
It combines the thrill of river navigation with exotic wildlife viewing in its purest state.
You will cruise down the Madre de Dios River toward an exclusive jungle retreat and explore deep lagoons and encounter various primate species.
Finally, you will experience the magic of Amazonian sunsets before returning to civilization.
Day 1: Arrival in Puerto Maldonado and Transfer to the Lodge (L, D).
Day 2: Apu Victor Lake and Monkey Island (B, L, D).

We will meet you at the Puerto Maldonado airport, we will begin with a brief city tour before heading to the port, we will navigate the Lower Madre de Dios River for 30 kilometers.
Along the way, you will be able to spot herons, turtles, and caimans on the riverbanks.
We will welcome you with a tropical fruit nectar.
Then, you will settle into your comfortable private bungalow.
You will enjoy a succulent lunch with local ingredients in our rustic dining room.
We will hike along marked trails toward a small lagoon.
Here, we will look for the Black Caiman and the Spectacled Caiman in their natural habitat.
Enjoy a delicious dinner and relax at our bar with board games.
The melody of the nocturnal jungle will accompany your rest.
Night at the Tambopata Lodge.
You will wake up to the sounds of howler monkeys and birds of paradise.
After breakfast, we will explore various jungle ecosystems.
Our guide will teach you about medicinal trees such as Copaiba and Cedar.
We will arrive at the majestic Apu Victor Lake.
From our panoramic observation deck, you will spot macaws, toucans, and giant river otters.
We will return to the lodge for a restorative lunch.
Then we will navigate for a few minutes to an island in the heart of the river.
There, you will interact with various species, such as spider monkeys and capuchin monkeys.
The group at end the day will admire the stunning Amazonian sunset over the river.
You will enjoy a special dinner to celebrate your last night in the Amazon.

Take advantage of the first minutes of the day to listen to the birds directly from your room.
You will enjoy your last breakfast in the jungle.
Finally, we will begin the return journey to Puerto Maldonado.
