During our half-day excursion, we will visit a pre-Columbian archaeological site located in the middle of a residential area. Afterwards, we will visit the Larco Museum to see its impressive private collection of pre-Columbian art and stop for a traditional Peruvian dessert.
Finally, we will visit the Convent of Santo Domingo, one of the best preserved from the colonial era, and climb its tower to enjoy an excellent view of the city.

Transfer to the airport, flight to Cusco. Reception and transfer to the hotel.
AM or PM; we begin our visit to the city of Cusco, our first stop will be at the Cathedral Basilica, which is the city’s main temple. We will continue the tour towards the Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha), which was built with the intention of worshipping the Sun God. Currently, part of the complex functions as a convent called Santo Domingo. We will continue our tour outside the city to visit the Inca fortress of Sacsayhuamán and its impressive stone buildings, which reach a height of up to 9 meters. We will continue our tour to the ceremonial center of Qenqo and Puka Pukara, ending at Tambomachay, where we will appreciate the ingenious ability of the Incas to manipulate water.
Early in the morning, departure from your hotel and transfer to the station to take the train that will take you to the town of Aguas Calientes (a town located at the foot of the mountain where Machu Picchu is located). Reception by our local guide and transfer by bus to the citadel of Machu Picchu, where we will arrive after 30 minutes. You will take a guided tour of approximately 2.5 hours, during which you will be able to contemplate all the magnificence of the enigmatic citadel. At the end of the visit, we will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where we will have lunch at a local restaurant. To return, it will be necessary to be at the train station 30 minutes before the train departs. Return to Cusco, reception, and transfer to your hotel.
Early in the morning, we will pick you up at your hotel in the city of Cusco to begin the excursion southeast of Cusco, passing through Cusipata (3339 meters above sea level) until we reach the village of Llactoc, where we will see herds of alpacas and llamas and flora typical of the region, where we will begin our hike of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. Continuing on, we will appreciate snow-capped mountains and wonderful landscapes in the distance, until we finally reach the mountain of 7 colors (Vinicunca). After a walk and photos at the top, we will begin the descent for an hour and a half to reach Llactoc, where we will take our transport and return to Cusipata, where we will have lunch (included). Then, we will board our transportation and return to Cusco, arriving in the city around 5:30 p.m. Transfer to your hotel.
***Important:
– The excursion to the Mountain of Seven Colors can be replaced by Palccoyo Mountain, which is at a lower altitude and offers an easier hike.
– If you prefer to visit the Mountain of Seven Colors, you have the option of doing so by ATV (check cost and availability).
– You can also rent horses in the region for approximately $30 USD.
