Our staff will be waiting for you, to begin our tour to Uyuni salt flat, the largest salt desert in the world.
The tour starts at hrs. 11:00 approximately, from the offices, initially we will visit the Colchani Train and Population Cemetery, places to learn about the history and the present of Uyuni, then we enter the wonderful Salar de Uyuni, after a few minutes of travel through this immense white plain we will arrive at the “Hotel de Sal”, the first of its kind, which currently functions as a museum.
On our way we will be able to observe fantastic optical illusions that are accentuated in the rainy season (between December and March), also the “Ojos de Agua”, small eruptions of water that will help us to know the process of formation of this infinite sea of salt.
At noon we arrive at Incahuasi Island in the center of the salt flat, where we can observe large populations of cacti, fossils of sea rocks and spectacular views of the salt from the top of the island.
Night in Uyuni.
After having breakfast in the town of San Juan, we crossed the Chiguana salt flat (4200 meters high).
We begin our journey towards the volcanic region of Los Lípez, in it is the Ollagüe Volcano that we can observe from a distance.
We continue our trip to the Eduardo Avaroa Reserve, on the way we will be able to observe the Hedionda, Cañapa and Honda lagoons with varieties of local birdlife.
Later we will enter the “Siloli Desert” with stops to take pictures of the impressive landscapes that this desert presents, in it is the famous formation called the “Stone Tree”.
We enter the Eduardo Abaroa Andean Fauna Reserve and arrive at Laguna Colorada, where it is possible to observe the 3 types of flamingos that exist in the Andean region.
Night in the Desert.
We started the day very early (around 5:30 am) to be able to observe the geysers of the “Sun of the Morning”, fumaroles and craters with volcanic lava.
Afterwards we will enjoy a bath in hot springs, despite the low temperature it is an unforgettable experience.
We continue our journey almost to the border with Chile, at Hito Cajón.
On the way we will enjoy the panoramic observation of the “Dalí Desert” with rocks that resemble the work of the great surrealist painter, in addition to visiting the Green Lagoon at the foot of the Licancabur Volcano.
From the Laguna Verde we begin our return to Uyuni, in the afternoon we will walk through the great “Valley of the Rocks”, with remains of volcanic rocks.
Finally, we will visit the town of San Cristóbal, a town transferred in its entirety to its current location for the construction of the largest mine in Bolivia.
Arrival to Uyuni at hrs. 18:00 approximately, transfer to the airport to board your flight to La Paz.

We recommend that all of the guests arrive in Peru with their own travel insurance and that it covers for lost luggage.
