Upon arrival, you will receive a traditional welcome and a transfer to the hotel (immediate use of hotel facilities available).
Delhi, one of the oldest cities in the world, offers a unique atmosphere with the historic charm of Old Delhi and the modernity of New Delhi.
The perfect blend of old and new worlds makes it a fascinating destination to explore.
Night in Delhi.
Breakfast at the Hotel.
In the morning, visit New Delhi, including a drive past the government buildings: Rashtrapati Bhavan (the President of India’s official residence), Parliament House, and the India Gate (War Memorial Arch).
Later, we will visit Gandhi Smriti (also known as Birla House), the sacred site where Mahatma Gandhi spent the last 144 days of his life and was assassinated on January 30, 1948.
This is followed by a visit to the Sikh Temple (Gurudwara Bangla Sahib), which offers a deep dive into one of the most important sites of the Sikh religion, allowing visitors to experience its traditions and customs—a must-see in Delhi.
Next, we visit Humayun’s Tomb, the mausoleum of the second Mughal Emperor, Humayun.
Perfectly situated within a Persian garden, the tomb features an ingenious combination of red sandstone and white marble on its exterior.
Lunch included at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, explore Old Delhi, passing by the Red Fort (built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan), and enjoy a rickshaw ride (man-powered bicycle cart) through Chandni Chowk, one of the oldest and largest bazaars in India.
Characterized by narrow streets packed with shops, Chandni Chowk offers a true taste of traditional Delhi shopping.
Since the 17th century, it has been rightfully called a “shopper’s paradise.” During Shah Jahan’s reign, a tree-lined canal ran through its center, reflecting the moon—giving rise to the name “Chandni Chowk,” which means “Moonlight Square.”
Finally, we visit Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India.
Night in Delhi.
Breakfast.
In the morning, depart by road for Jaipur (approx. 300 km / 4 hours), the capital of Rajasthan.
It is famously known as “The Pink City” because the old city was painted terracotta pink in 1876 to welcome Prince Albert.
Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.
In the afternoon, we will visit Patrika Gate, one of the most photographed spots in Jaipur.
While the gate is just one of the city’s many architectural wonders, its opulent design is truly breathtaking.
Its vibrant and intricate walkways serve as a true reflection of Rajasthani culture.
Later, we will visit the Birla Temple, originally known as the Lakshmi Narayan Temple.
Built of pure white marble, it is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and the Goddess Lakshmi.
Night in Jaipur.
In the morning, visit the Amber Fort, including a jeep ride to and from the fortress.
Situated on a rugged and picturesque hill, Amber Fort is a fascinating blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture.
Built in 1592 by one of Akbar’s most trusted generals, Maharaja Man Singh I, it served as the main residence of the Rajput rulers.
With its high walls, multiple gates, and paved paths, the fort overlooks Maotha Lake in the town of Amer, the former capital of the ancient princely state of Jaipur.
Afterward, enjoy a panoramic view of the beautifully restored Jal Mahal (Water Palace), a former royal pleasure pavilion.
In the afternoon, visit the Maharaja’s City Palace, which houses the former Royal Residence and a museum showcasing the Jaipur royal family’s private collection.

Fatehpur Sikri was the first planned city of the Mughals, built by Emperor Akbar in 1564 AD.
It served as his capital for 16 years until a water shortage forced him to abandon the city.
The drive continues to Agra, an ancient city mentioned in the great epic Mahabharata and a center of power during the Mughal Empire.
It is world-renowned as the home of one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal.
The Taj Mahal is a monument of such incredible elegance that it is considered a synonym for beauty itself.
Transfer to the Hotel.
Night in Agra.
Breakfast at the Hotel.
In the morning, visit the Taj Mahal* (closed on Fridays), India’s most fascinating and beautiful monument.
The Taj Mahal was completed in 1653 AD by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite queen, Mumtaz Mahal.
This perfectly symmetrical monument took 22 years of labor and 20,000 workers, including masons and jewelers, to build and is set amidst lush gardens.
We will also visit the Agra Fort, an imposing fortress on the banks of the Yamuna River, built by Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565 AD.
In the afternoon, we will be invited to a local home to meet a family and enjoy a cooking demonstration, where we will learn the art of Indian cuisine followed by a home-cooked dinner.
Afterward, there will be a demonstration on how to tie a sari and an opportunity to get Mehendi (henna, a temporary tattoo) applied.
Travelers now have a three-hour limit to complete their tour of the Taj Mahal, from entry to exit.
The three-hour limit begins after passing the ticket barrier and security check.
If a tourist remains inside the complex for more than three hours, a fine of INR 600 per person (approximately USD 10) must be paid.
Rules and regulations are subject to change at any time.

Wat Traimit houses the world’s largest solid gold Buddha, standing nearly five meters tall and weighing five and a half tons.
The excursion continues to Wat Pho, the largest temple in Bangkok and home to the massive Reclining Buddha and the Chedis of the Kings.
It is one of the city’s grandest temples, famous for its giant Reclining Buddha, which measures 46 meters in length and is covered in gold leaf.

Built in 1782, it served for 150 years as the home of the King of Thailand, the royal court, and the administrative seat of government.

Our final destination for the day will be one of the Karen villages.
This tribe, originally from Tibet, migrated to present-day Myanmar about two thousand years ago.
During the 18th century, political conflict and persecution led to their mass migration into Northern Thailand, where they still reside today without official state status.
The tribe is most famous for the Kayan women a subgroup of the Red Karen whose necks are adorned with brass rings.
Starting as early as age five, the constant pressure pushes down their collarbones and ribs, creating the appearance of an elongated neck—the reason behind their nickname “giraffe women,” a truly remarkable sight.

She was so attentive and helpful and extremely knowledgeable about all the sites we visited. I felt the tour was made particularly special when Mariela explained Qechua ( her native tongue) and referred to ‘my ancestors’ when giving historical details of the Incas - it really brought the history to life! Thank you Mariela for a truly unique experience in Cuzco. Our guides were Luis, Victor and Cynthia and the truth was amazing. They are too kind, they helped us with the photos, and best of all, they really know their subject. Very knowledgeable about Peruvian history and its city. Very punctual in everything too. I would live this experience again. Lizbeth Carolin... M2025-05-04Verified Loved it.
