At approximately 8:00 AM, we will pick you up to begin the tour.
First, we will visit the town of Pisac.
This site is famous for its Inca archaeological park.
There, you can see an irrigation system, an astronomical observatory, and the Intiwatana sun clock.
Afterward, we will have lunch at a local restaurant.
Next, we will visit the ruins of Ollantaytambo.
This area was built as an Inca fortress.
It includes a temple, agricultural terraces, and an urban sector.
You can distinguish two main areas.
One is for religious worship and the other for housing.
Additionally, it served as an administrative and military center.
This is clear from its high walls and towers.
Finally, we will transfer you to your hotel in the Sacred Valley.
You will spend the night there.

First, we will pick you up from your hotel in the Sacred Valley at 05:30 AM.
We will travel in our private transport toward the “ceja de selva” or high jungle.
This direct journey takes approximately 3 hours.
Afterward, we will arrive at Albergue Ipal at 08:30 AM.
This is our exclusive lodge located in the high jungle.
Upon arrival, we will enjoy a breakfast featuring local fruits and freshly roasted coffee.
Then, we will begin your immersion in the world of coffee. We will start with a presentation of the lodge and its facilities.
Next, we will tour the plantations to observe high-altitude coffee plots.
You will also participate actively in the harvest of different varieties.
In addition, we will visit fields of tea, lucuma, and other artisanal fruits.
Later, you will enjoy a lunch prepared with fresh local products.
In the afternoon, we will participate in the peeling and roasting process.
We will also enjoy a tasting of various types of coffee.
Finally, we will tour the tea plantations and processing factories.
As an optional night activity, you can observe owls in the “Owl Forest.”

Afterward, we will head to the farm.
There, you will learn about the family’s daily work and agricultural activities.
You will also enjoy seasonal fruits and discover various tropical products.
These include coffee, cacao, coca, and tea.
Next, you will learn everything about coffee.
This is the farm’s most important product.
The family exports this coffee through cooperatives with organic and fair-trade certifications.
Additionally, our specialists will show you the secrets behind every cup.
To finish, you will prepare your own coffee using traditional artisanal methods.
After lunch, we will prepare to say goodbye to the family.
Then, we will continue the journey by car to the Ollantaytambo train station.
From there, you will travel by train to the town of Aguas Calientes.
Upon arrival, our staff will meet you at the train station.
Finally, we will provide a transfer to your hotel in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town).

Afterward, your local guide will pick you up to board the bus.
This journey to the Machu Picchu citadel takes about 30 minutes.
Upon arrival, you will begin a guided tour of approximately 2.5 hours.

Once the tour ends, you will take the return bus to Aguas Calientes.
There, a delicious lunch will be included.
Later, please arrive at the train station 30 minutes before your departure.
