Next, explore four remarkable archaeological complexes on the city’s outskirts:

Sacsayhuaman: Famous for its massive stone blocks, some reaching 9 meters in height and weighing 120 tons, meticulously fitted together with incredible precision.

Qenqo: A significant Inca ceremonial and ritual center carved into rock.

Puka Pukara: An ancient fortress believed to have served vital administrative and military functions.

The hike takes approximately 3 hours round-trip, including ample time to take in the scenery.

If you prefer not to trek the entire distance, you may rent a horse from local villagers; please note that horses can only reach a point 100 meters from the summit, so the final stretch must be completed on foot.

After the descent, we return to the restaurant for a traditional lunch before heading back to Cusco, with an estimated arrival between 5:00 and 6:00 PM.
