Day 2: Excursion to the Mountain of Colors

Very early in the morning (between approximately 3:30 and 4:00 a.m.), we picked up guests from their hotels to begin our exciting adventure to the Mountain of Colors, also known as Vinicunca or the “Rainbow Mountain,” one of Peru’s newest and most stunning tourist attractions.

Located more than 100 kilometers from the city of Cusco, this impressive mountain formation rises to 5,200 meters above sea level.

Its distinctive landscape, adorned with a variety of hues, is the result of the complex combination of minerals found in the area. Upon completing our hike, we’ll return to the restaurant to enjoy a delicious traditional lunch, and then begin our return to Cusco, with an estimated arrival time of 5:30 p.m.

Day 3: Visit to Machu Picchu

Breakfast at the hotel.

Early in the morning, we’ll pick you up at your hotel and take you to the Ollantaytambo train station, where we’ll board the train bound for Aguas Calientes.

Upon arrival, we’ll head to the bus station to continue our journey to the entrance of the impressive Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu.

The tour of the citadel will be led by a private guide, who will help you discover one of the greatest wonders of Inca architecture while you enjoy spectacular views and explore the rich endemic biodiversity of flora and fauna that characterizes this place.

At the end of the tour, you’ll have time to take photos and enjoy the surroundings. Then, we’ll take the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch.
