PM: We will have a guided tour of the city of Cusco and four nearby archaeological sites. Our tour will begin with a visit to the Basilica Cathedral of Cusco, which houses magnificent handicrafts and a collection of canvases belonging to the “Cusco school”. Then we will visit the Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha), which was built in Inca times for their main deity, the Sun God. Today it houses impressive examples of Inca architecture, as well as the convent of Santo Domingo. We will continue our excursion to the outskirts of the city to visit four archaeological sites located near the city. We will start by visiting the imposing Sacsayhuaman, where you can see stones up to 9 meters high and 120 tons fitting together with incredible precision. Just 1 kilometer away we will find the Inca ceremonial center of Qenqo. Followed by Puka Pukara, which is believed to have been a construction destined to fulfill military and administrative control functions, we will finish our tour visiting Tambomachay, where we will see one of the best examples of the Inca’s skill in the manipulation of water. At the end of the excursion, transfer back to your hotel.
In the afternoon we will arrive to the area of Pachar in the Sacred Valley, to the SKY LODGE ADVENTURE SUITES, unique in the world, the first hanging lodge camp. Approximately at 3:30 p.m. we will start the safety briefing and the delivery of equipment to ascend the mountain by the VIA-FERRATA. Upon arrival at Sky Lodge Adventure suites, you will be greeted with mate or coffee. Likewise, you will receive a delicious dinner and breakfast service in the morning.
At Sky Lodge Adventure Suites, you will sleep inside a completely transparent hanging shelter, allowing you to appreciate the breathtaking view of this magical valley and its nights adorned by the Milky Way. After enjoying this experience, at 10:00 a.m. the next day you will descend the mountain in the same way through the ZIP-LINE or VIA-FERRATA activity.
Breakfast at SkyLodge, after the zip line descent, we get ready for our trip to Ollantaytambo train station where we will board our train to Aguas Calientes (town located at the foot of the mountain where Machu Picchu is located). Reception by the local guide and walk to the station to board the bus that will transfer you to the citadel of Machu Picchu where you will arrive after 30 min., we make our guided tour around 2.30hrs. where we will know the main points of visit and all the magnificence of the enigmatic city.
At the end of our tour we take the bus down to Aguas Calientes. Lunch at a local restaurant. Upon return, we will be at the train station 30 minutes before the departure of the train.
Return to Cusco. Arrival, reception and transfer to your hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. At appropriate time transfer to the airport, flight to Lima and connecting flight.

We recommend that all of the guests arrive in Peru with their own travel insurance and that it covers for lost luggage.
