The Importance of International Travel Insurance
Securing international travel insurance is essential to protect your health and finances against unforeseen events. This service covers emergency medical expenses that are typically excluded from your local insurance coverage, while also managing medical repatriations, trip cancellations, and lost luggage. More than an expense, it is an investment in your peace of mind.
Key Reasons to Travel Insured:
- Global Medical Assistance: Guarantees care in the event of accidents or illness, as domestic coverage is rarely valid abroad.
- High-Cost Protection: Avoid exorbitant out-of-pocket expenses in destinations with costly private healthcare (such as the US or Europe).
- Compliance with Entry Requirements: Many destinations, including Schengen Area countries, mandate compulsory medical insurance for entry.
- Logistics and Luggage Support: Receive compensation and assistance for theft, delayed baggage, or flight cancellations.
- Repatriation and Transfers: Includes medical evacuation or repatriation of remains to the country of origin in severe situations.
- 24/7 Support: Continuous assistance in your language for legal emergencies, lost documents, or medical inquiries.
Important: Immigration Registration and Tax Exemption: It is the sole responsibility of the passenger to correctly declare the purpose of their travel to immigration authorities. The type of stamp received in the passport is critical, as hotels will require this stamp at check-in to verify tourist status (an essential requirement to qualify for tax benefits or local tax exemptions).

Airfares are subject to change without prior notice until final ticket issuance. Flight schedules are subject to change by airlines up until the day of travel. Airlines may impose additional specific restrictions, limitations, penalties, and/or conditions.
