Upon arrival at Iquitos Airport, reception and transfer for a briefing on the itinerary, lodge services, and essential recommendations for your stay in the Amazon.
Afterwards, transfer to the Port of Iquitos to board a speedboat and begin the journey through the Amazon River toward the lodge, enjoying views of the rainforest and its rich biodiversity along the way.
Upon arrival, welcome, check-in, and accommodation in your assigned room, followed by a typical Amazonian lunch. In the afternoon, excursion to observe the Pygmy Marmoset, the smallest primate species in the world. Return to the lodge for dinner. In the evening, enjoy a boat excursion to observe caimans, nocturnal birds, and other wildlife along the riverbanks before returning to the lodge for overnight accommodation.

We will depart for an excursion to swim in the Amazon River, with the opportunity to observe the famous pink and gray river dolphins in their natural habitat. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Victoria Regia, the world’s largest aquatic plant, and explore the surrounding area in search of iguanas. Continue with a traditional piranha fishing experience in the river’s tributaries before heading to Sapote Lagoon to enjoy a spectacular Amazonian sunset. Return to the lodge for dinner, followed by a guided night walk to observe tarantulas, giant frogs, and other nocturnal species of the rainforest.

The day begins with an introduction to birdwatching, accompanied by the sounds of the Amazon rainforest at sunrise. After a typical Amazonian breakfast, embark on a boat excursion through remote lagoons and creeks in search of monkeys and a variety of exotic bird species. Continue with a visit to the San Juan de Yanayacu community, where you will learn about local traditions and daily life. Return to the lodge for lunch, followed by an excursion to observe the Hoatzin (Shansho), a unique prehistoric-looking bird native to the Amazon wetlands. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner before concluding the day with a silent canoe excursion, offering a unique opportunity to experience the sights and sounds of the jungle at night.

In the morning, enjoy an excursion to the lodge’s botanical garden, where you will learn about the region’s native flora, medicinal plants, and the sustainable waste management systems implemented by the lodge. Afterwards, free time to choose between kayaking or canoeing through the Yanayacu lakes, relaxing in hammocks and lounge areas, or enjoying a final swim in the river. Following a farewell lunch at the lodge, transfer by river and land back to the city. Arrival at Iquitos Airport or your selected hotel.

What to bring, what to take?
Plastic raincoat or poncho (waterproof), flashlights, rechargeable batteries, binoculars, good insect repellent, sunscreen, water bottle, light cotton clothing, long pants and long-sleeved shirts, socks, and cotton T-shirts. Moisture-resistant sneakers and/or rubber boots (provided at the lodge). Swimwear is essential. A windbreaker jacket (sometimes the temperature drops considerably when it rains or during boat trips).
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE JUNGLE TRIP:
• For the comfort of passengers during their trip on the Amazon River and their stay at the lodge, we suggest packing a backpack or small suitcase in advance with only the essentials for their stay.
• Suitcases and other luggage will be kept in storage for the duration of the stay at the lodge.

– Rates in US dollars (USD), valid until December 2026.
– Prices per person based on a minimum of 2 travelers.
– Rates for children apply up to 8 years old accompanied by two adults.
– Prices do not apply on special dates such as Holy Week (1–5 April), Fiestas Patrias (July 27–30), and New Year’s Holidays (December 30–January 2).
2. Hotels and rooms.
– Rates calculated for standard rooms. For higher categories, please request a quote.
– Check-in: from 3:00 p.m. / Check-out: until 12:00 p.m.
– Triple rooms may include two double beds to share.
3. Documentation.
– Each passenger is responsible for carrying a valid passport (minimum 6 months) and, where applicable, visas and required vaccinations.
4. Itineraries.

5. Services not included.
