The experience was challenging as we are not regular hikers but we were lucky to have Jesús as guide, who helped us to find motivation and arrive to the end, also taking beautiful pictures of us being a professional photographer. Jesús is also a passionate story teller whom made our visit to Machu Picchu unforgettable by explaining us all the history of Machu Picchu.

12.30 pm. Reception at Jaen airport and transfer by tourist transport to the city of Chachapoyas.
17.00pm. Arrive in Chachapoyas, transfer and check-in at selected hotel.
08:30 am. – Tours to the fortified citadel of Kuelap, en route we observe the archaeological site of Macro. Arrive at Nuevo Tingo and transfer by cable car to the citadel of Kuelap, guided tour, lunch, return to Chachapoyas.
5:30 pm. – Arrive in Chachapoyas, transfer to hotel, overnight.
08:30 am. – Departure. Transfer to the town of Cocachimba, from where we walk to the Gocta waterfall, a 2 ½ hour walk. On the way, we will observe diverse flora and fauna and if we´re lucky we may be able to see the cock of the rock. On arrival at the waterfall, time to enjoy and take photographs, then return to the town of Cocachimba, lunch, transfer to Chachapoyas.
5:30 pm. – Arrive in Chachapoyas, transfer to hotel, overnight.
Transfer by tourist transport to Jaén airport. End of services.
